As a graduate of Pratt Institute, Joshua, based in Brooklyn, has been freelancing as an illustrator and graphic designer for six years. He is also a professional percussionist. Painting, designing, and playing drums/percussion have kept him going in the pursuit of living out his artistic passions. He prefers now to consider himself a “striving” artist rather than a “starving” artist. He sees his purpose, in both his art and music, unfolding in New York City, and is pursuing these passions full force.

Joshua’s freelance clients include a number of musicians, singers, and performers across the US and abroad, as well as publications and companies that include the NBA, Blacksmith Management (Manager to Talib Kweli, De La Soul, etc.) and OneWorld Magazine, among others.

Joshua and his mother just released their first illustrated gift book, Who Were the Magi?, on Amazon and are currently in the process of finding a publisher as well as having it translated into different languages for multi-lingual worldwide distribution.
